It’s that time of year wherein the mix of merriment, it can seem like alcoholic beverages flow like water. If you’re looking to stay jolly sans alcohol this year, we’ve got you covered. After all, you certainly don’t have to drink alcohol this time of year to have a wonderful time catching up with friends and family. Instead of drinking a soda, or plain old water, we thought we’d put a refreshing and festive mocktail together that is just a bit sweet, tart and spicy. We’re using Wildflower Honey Fire Cider for a kick and we know it’s just the thing that you’ll be craving all season long!
Serves: 4, Prep time: 15 minutes, Passive time: 20 minutes
2 cups water
1 cup fresh cranberries
¼ cup raw honey (you can add more if you like, but this was just right for us!)
2 tablespoons Wildflower Honey Fire Cider
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
4 cups lime seltzer
Optional – cranberries, lime and rosemary for garnish
1. Add the water, cranberries, raw honey, Fire Cider, and rosemary to a medium saucepan. Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil, cover and reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Strain the mixture out, and place it in the freezer to chill for 20 minutes.
3. Fill a glass with ice and to each, add ½ cup of the spiced cranberry and rosemary syrup and 1 cup of lime seltzer.
4. Mix, garnish with desired toppings and enjoy. Cheers!
